Channel 4 are set to push the boundaries of what viewers can swallow with a brand new dating show featuring naked contestants.
The creators of Gogglebox and Tattoo Fixers are developing a risqué new show titled Naked Attraction which promises to be ‘like Blind Date, but with a serious twist.’ ‘The show has begun filming and it’s pretty full-on,’ the Daily Star reports.
"So what we’re saying is 'Would you make a better, more informed decision if you stripped somebody of all of those social norms and those crutches? I made it absolutely, categorically clear right from the beginning that I was totally not taking my clothes off." Don’t worry, it will be hitting our TV screens very soon.
Would you make a better dating decision, by seeing somebody naked first? Naked Attraction comes to Channel 4 on July 25 at 10pm.
What judgement do you make about someone without seeing their face first?
'" And in each round, whoever the singleton is least attracted to based on that body part will be eliminated.
Naked Attraction is thought to be starting next month and it is a bit like Blind Date – except there are six possible choices of date with those potentials all chilling out in the buff the whole time.
They're introducing , which they promise will push the boundaries of the traditional dating show with what they call (via The Mirror), "a daring new dating series that starts where some good dates might end - naked." The show sees both a single man and a single woman each presented with six potential dates to choose from, all standing before them entirely in the nude; with the chosen couples then heading off on a date to see if those initial instincts turn out to be correct.
Anna Richardson — who you’ll recognise from The Big Breakfast, Supersize vs Superskinny and The Sex Education Show — will be hosting to help the singletons find love, talking them through every decision.
On presenting, Anna said: "Nine times out of ten, people are saying to me, when you actually meet up with that person, they’re nothing like their profile picture, and they’re nothing like the person they’ve made out that they are.
As the rounds go on, the people choosing will strip off, too.
The producers of the new show are also behind Tattoo Fixers, so if you like that you will surely love this too.
